İMPORTANT EXPLANATİONS

+İf students request ,valid health insurance shall not be requested as they are covered by general health insurance within three months from the date of registration, but they have to notify the administration after taking out general health insurance within three months.

+If requested by the administration, student documents should be requested from the institution of education as e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped or by obtaining them from the e-government system.

+In case you cannot graduate during the normal education period, a residence permit for a maximum of 1 year can be issued for each year, provided that you bring a student certificate showing that you can actively benefit from student rights.

+During your residence permit; If you continue your education in a different faculty/department of the same university or transfer to a different university in the same city, you must notify the provincial directorate of migration administration within 20 working days for your information to be updated, provided that your student status is not interrupted.

+In case of a university, faculty or department change in a different city, you must apply for a residence permit to the provincial directorate of migration administration in the city where your new university is located, within 10 days. All your transactions are in your new university.
It is finalized by the provincial directorate of migration administration in the city where it is located.

If the student is a child

Visa proving to the reason of stay and taken from the foreign representations of the Republic of Turkey (for the purpose of excavation work and surface research)

Official, e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document showing the duration and place of the research to be conducted

2)Applicant owns immovable property in Turkey

Photocopy of the official, e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document (title deed)  prove that the residence belongs to the person.

3)Applicants who will establish a commercial connection or business

Invitation letter to be received from the person or companies to be contacted, notarized company activity document, notarized tax plate, notary approved trade registry gazette, notary approved circular of signature 

4)Applicants who will participate in in-service training programs

Document showing the duration and place of the training to be received from public institutions and organizations where in-service training will be held (e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document on letterhead)

Applicants who will come for educational or similar purposes within the framework of agreements or student exchange programs to which the Republic of Turkey is a party

Education/internship certificate/AIESEC e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document taken  from the institutions or organizations where the training/internship will be held
Applicants stay for tourism purposes

Upon the request of the administration, information or document regarding the travel plan and accommodation

In case a short-term residence permit is requested due to not fulfilling family residence permit conditions :

HUMANİTARİAN RESİDENCE PERMİT

For foreigners who will obtain a humanitarian residence permit, the conditions required for other types of residence are not sought. The duration is determined by the ministry, approved by the General Directorate, and the governorship may issue a humanitarian residence permit and extend this period.

Foreigners who can obtain a humanitarian residence permit;

-When it comes to the best interests of the minor foreigner

In case the foreigner cannot be made to leave Turkey, or if it is not considered reasonable or possible to leave Turkey, despite a decision to deport (deport) or a ban on entry to Turkey.
For foreigners whose deportation decision has not been taken in accordance with Article 55 of the Foreigners Law,

Foreigners with serious indications that they will be subject to the death penalty, torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in the country of deportation

Victims of human trafficking benefiting from the victimization support process

Foreigners who do not have the opportunity to continue this treatment in the country to which they will be deported while their treatment for their life-threatening diseases continues.

Victims of psychological, physical or sexual violence (Until their treatment is completed).

When the applicant is in the country of first asylum of the foreign national or is in the process of being sent back to a safe third country

If foreign nationals who need to be allowed to enter and stay in Turkey for urgent reasons or for the protection of the country's interests, public security and public order, are not able to obtain one of the other types of residence permit due to their situation that prevents the issuance of a residence permit.

In exceptional cases, a humanitarian residence permit is issued.

RESİDENCE PERMİT FOR VİCTİMS OF HUMAN TRAFFİCKİNG

Foreigners who are victims of human trafficking or who are strongly suspected to be victims of human trafficking are granted a thirty-day residence permit by the governorships so that they can get rid of the effects of their experiences and decide whether or not to cooperate with the authorities. The conditions sought in other types of residence permits are not sought.

Foreigners who own real estate and real estate in Turkey must provide the following documents:

4)4 biometric photos

5)Ownership letter from the land registry office

6)Photocopy of title deed

In addition to these documents, the documents that should be attached according to the type of permit are as follows:

For short-term residence permit extension application, a signed or stamped document  taken the relevant institutions or organizations regarding the purpose of staying in Turkey with a short-term residence permit.(For extend short term residence permit)

A signed, stamped or sealed document proving that you are an active student for student residence permit.(For extend student residence permit)
