Taner Beyoğlu, Director General of Libraries and Publications at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, announced that the number of public libraries is 1298 and the number of users has exceeded 33 million.

4)'Sarcophagus' found for the first time in Diyarbakır
A Roman sarcophagus was found during the excavation between the bastion numbered 75 and Saint George Church in the 4th stage of the 5,000-year-old Diyarbakır city walls, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. The sarcophagus was the first one found in the city.
5)Istanbul Modern will be open to visitors on April 11 and 12
Istanbul Modern, which will be closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, will host for the art lovers on April 11 and 12.
