Turkey's southern coast and the Cappadocia region also play an important role in the movie. Some scenes in the movie were shot in Kaş district of Antalya, Oludeniz beach in Fethiye and Goreme town in Nevşehir.

In the 2014 movie "The Water Diviner", in which historical places such as Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque were used during the filming in Istanbul, the director of the movie, Russel Crowe, shot some scenes Muğla - Kayaköy.
