1)The Murder of the Orient Express (2017) – 
Murder on the Orient Express movie based on Agatha Christie's famous novel it is about a detective  named Hercule Poirot who solves a murder on a train from Istanbul to Paris.

One of the things that makes this movie special for Turks is that the first station is Sirkeci Station.

2)The Girl on the Bridge (1999) – 

The Girl on the Bridge is a French drama film released in 1999. The film stars Vanessa Paradis as Adele and Daniel Auteuil as Gabor. The Girl on the Bridge was written by Serge Frydman and directed by French director Patrice Leconte.

Last scene in the movie shot in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

3)The Two Faces of January ( 2014) 

The Two Faces of January based on the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith, this movie is set in the 1960s. The movie tells the story of an American tourist couple (played by Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst) and their adventure with a guide (played by Oscar Isaac) they meet in Athens. 
Turkey's southern coast and the Cappadocia region also play an important role in the movie. Some scenes in the movie were shot in Kaş district of Antalya, Oludeniz beach in Fethiye and Goreme town in Nevşehir.

4)Water Diviner(2014)
In the 2014 movie "The Water Diviner", in which historical places such as Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque were used during the filming in Istanbul, the director of the movie, Russel Crowe,  shot some scenes Muğla - Kayaköy. The movie, in which Russell Crowe also played the lead role, told the story of hero Joshua Connor, who came to Gallipoli in 1919 in search of his son who disappeared in the war.

5)Troy(2014)
Some parts of the movie Troy were filmed in the ancient city of Troy, located in Çanakkale.
This movie based on a ancient story of the Troyan war.
The Trojan horse used in Troy was donated to the city of Çanakkale by the production company Warner Bros. after the release of the movie.

6)İnferno(2014)
This movie based on popular Robert Langford series İnferno book writed by Dan Brown.
It was filmed in Istanbul
The Grand Bazaar, Beyazit Square, Hagia Sophia Mosque and Sultanahmet Square also increased interest in the movie, and the Basilica Cistern hosted the most moving scenes of the movie.

7)From Russia with Love(1962)
From Russia with Love directed by Terence Young, the movie has an IMDb score of 7.4 and stars Sean Connery, Robert Shaw and Lotte Lenya.
James Bond becomes involved in an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty to retrieve a Soviet encryption device stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Some scenes of the movie were shot in Pendik, Istanbul.

8)The Reluctant Fundamentalist(2013)
The movie The Reluctant Fundamentalist is about an American citizen of Pakistani nationality whose life changes after the September 11 attacks. Based on the novel of the same name, some scenes of this movie take place in Istanbul and Ankara.
